Mild autumn climate and Majorcan flair alone may be reason enough for many to book a further education series on the Balearics. But it gets really interesting for specialists and management staff in the electronic branch, when they can take home a rucksack full of fresh ideas and new concepts for the technology race in the SMT branch. Precisely that accounts for the charm of the European Electronic Technology College, that took place for the 23rd time from 5th to 9th October in Colonia de Sant Jordi. The central topics: Automation and Digitisation.
From the production for the production: Under this premise about 100 visitors were able to look forward to being peppered intensively with high quality lectures and many practical examples over two days. Praised many times thereby was the high degree of professionalism of the event, which was also reflected in a repeated top class line-up:
In one of the many highlight lectures Hubert Kraus from Zollner Elektronik AG explained, how an EMS company can develop products successfully with Simultaneous Engineering. Stefan Wespel from the Diehl AKO foundation shared valuable empirical values for the use of robot technology in the electronic industry at Diehl Controls. And Prof. Dr. Hans Lichtenberg from the Technical University of Nørre Lyngby in Denmark thrilled the plenum with a lecture about inherent challenges of digitisation on the internal company communication.
The European Electronic Technology College is arranged every year by ASMPT, ASYS Group, Balver, Christian Koenen, kolb Cleaning Technology, Rehm Thermal Systems and ZEVAC AG. The ASYS Automatisierungssysteme GmbH took charge of the organisation.
"We look forward to an all-round successful event with highly satisfied guests and would like to thanks all participants", summed up Michael Brianda, CEO of the Christian Koenen Group, "especially for the excellent organisation, but also all speakers and the other sponsors. The committed and many years of cooperation has made this extraordinary format a small institution in the branch, which goes down very well with all participants."
