Expansion of the management team

In recent years, the Koenen Group has been able to successfully expand the areas of precision step stencils for SMD fine pitch printing, complex semicon applications and screens for precise printing applications in medical technology in particular. To ensure that we can realise our ambitious growth plans even in dynamic and turbulent times, we continue to make targeted investments in customer-specific, innovative printing processes and the expansion and development of our service and production teams.

As we do every year, we defined continuous improvement projects at the end of the year as part of our target development programme. This year, together with our colleagues from Afinum, we also created a Full Potential Plan in the sense of a "scale up strategy" . A five-year plan was developed in strategic workshops and an impressive growth strategy was designed in creative and inspiring meetings.

After the budgets for the operational business were approved, we went straight into implementation. Machines have already been ordered and investments made in infrastructure. Especially in times of turbulent and volatile market dynamics, we need outstanding teamwork to advise more competently and deliver top quality more reliably than our competitors.

I am pleased that we have already succeeded in adding two positions to our management team in the first weeks of the year. Our Head of Applications Sebastian Bechmann will also take on the leadership role (CTO) for our innovation processes and product management in the future.

We have been able to win Frank Breer for the role of Key Account Manager and the expansion of the Semicon business area. Mr Breer has already held sales management functions in our company in previous years. We are very pleased that we were able to find such experienced and highly ambitious staff for these important roles. We wish them both every success in helping our customers realise highly demanding screen and stencil printing applications.
