Stencil surface technology

The increasing miniaturization of SMD components necessitates ever higher precision when it comes to metal stencil production. The release behavior of the apertures plays a decisive role for the printing process. During laser cutting, melt residues are formed at the stencil surface and on the inner walls of the apertures.

Such material changes are responsible for unclean or insufficiently printed depots in many applications, particularly in the fine pitch range. Various surface methods can significantly reduce these effects.

We therefore advise that you book a comprehensive consultation with us before making any decisions as to surface technology; we can then identify the most suitable technology for your layout.
