Surface finishing
Electro polishing method
In the electro polishing method, through the apertures in the stencil a local acid rinsing is performed. For controlling removal for roughness, additionally electric voltage is applies. Thus it is possible to reproducibly improve surface quality of the aperture walls.
Our customers rely on this surface technology when they require the release characteristics of galvanically structured high-quality stencils with the precision of laser-cut stencils.

Advanced electro polishing method
Developed specially for the requirements of very small apertures (e. g. components such as CSPs, μBGAs, 0201 and 01005), this methods produces surfaces of very high quality. The processing affects the opening walls of the apertures and the stencil underside.
Surface activated squeegee side
By combination of different methods for surface processing a topography is produced which allows the printing medium to roll optimally. During the process, thixotropic materials fluidize more and fill the apertures of the stencil markedly better. This effect is important for layouts comprising very small apertures.
